More than 250 volunteers contributed more than 570 service hours to make it happen, and as a result more than 8 tons of trash and debris were pulled from the St. Mary’s River and surrounding areas on Saturday, April 24, during the 23rd Annual St. Marys River Clean Up. The Riverkeeper organization is extremely appreciative of its amazing volunteers for putting in the labor, as well as all the waste management and other agencies involved, and especially our partner organization Keep Nassau Beautiful.
